摘要 PURPOSE: A method for implementing a MAC(Media Access Control) layer in a mobile communication network is provided to make a MAC sublayer have a common channel MAC module, a dedicated channel MAC module, and a dedicated channel MAC management module, and to make the dedicated channel MAC module receive primitives to perform transitting processes. Therefore, various services are simultaneously supplied. CONSTITUTION: A MAC(Media Access Control) sublayer comprises as follows. A common channel MAC module(MAC_c)(210) manages a transceiving relating to up/down common channels. A dedicated channel MAC module(MAC_d)(230) manages a transceiving relating to up/down dedicated channels. A dedicated channel MAC management module(MAC_d_Act)(250) generates or cancels the dedicated channel MAC module(230). If a connection request primitive is received from an RRC(Radio Resource Control) sublayer, the module(250) decides a MAC ID(MAC_id). If the MAC ID is a new ID, the module(250) transmits a connection confirm primitive to the RRC sublayer. The module(250) generates a new dedicated channel MAC module, and adds the MAC ID to user information. The module(250) transmits a connection request primitive to the module(230). If a construction request primitive is received from the RRC sublayer, the module(250) checks the MAC ID. If the MAC ID exists, the module(250) transmits a construction request primitive to the module(230). If a terminal cancellation primitive is received from the module(230), the module(250) deletes the MAC ID from the user information.
