PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a life prediction method for precisely predicting a life without any influence from a crane working ratio. SOLUTION: An equivalent work achievement computing formula 31 is designated for every component to be predicted, and according to the formula 31, an equivalent working achievement is computed in each component, while a working ratio achievement computing formula 30 is designated for every component so as to compute a working ratio achievement, and on the basis of the computed equivalent work achievement, the computed working ratio achievement and a life reference value for the component, a life of the component is predicted.
