PURPOSE: A porous concrete-block to form a base of vegetation is provided to prevent the slide of cover materials paved on the block during keeping the structural stiffness of the block, and to promote ecological stability by forming the base for vegetation. CONSTITUTION: In a block, the middle parts of the both edges are depressed inward to form a groove for uniting, and a flat body-part(10) is formed. Several plating-holes(11) are formed in the body part. Inclined sides(12) are formed in both sides of the body part. The planting holes are formed in funnel shape to prevent the slide of cover materials paved on the block and to secure the base for vegetation widely. The block is made by mixing aggregates about 13-19mm, cement binder, water and admixture. The porosity of the block is above 25%.
