DEVICE FOR DETECTING REPETITION FIELD/FRAME OF VIDEO CODING SYSTEM

摘要

PURPOSE: A device for detecting repetition field/frame of a video coding system is provided to increase the efficiency of coding by detecting whether inputted field or frame is same to previous field or frame using a simplified circuit structure. CONSTITUTION: The device includes a CRC generator(10) for generating CRC corresponding to quantized motion picture data. A repetition field/frame detector(20) compares the CRC obtained in the CRC generator(10) and CRC of a previous field or a previous frame to output the result of the comparison as a repetition field or a repetition frame detection value.
