PURPOSE: A closed battery capable of resolving delay in filling an electrolyte solution and ununiform impregnation by attaching an insulation tape wherein a plurality of holes are formed to wrap the lower part and a side wall of an electrode group contained at the inside of a case is provided which realizes uniform impregnation of the electrolyte solution. CONSTITUTION: This closed battery comprises an electrode group (2) comprising a negative electrode, a positive electrode and a separator, an insulation tape (24) attached to wrap the lower part and a side wall of an electrode group and having a plurality of holes and a case containing the electrode group and an electrode solution and sealing, wherein an insulator is installed between the upper part of the electrode group and the case.
