PURPOSE: An apparatus for opening/shutting ice outlet port for refrigerator is provided to reduce manufacturing procedures, parts count and manufacturing cost by improving attachment structure of the discharge lever and the cover for covering the ice outlet port. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus(30) comprises a cover(40) mounted to be rotatable at the outlet side of an ice outlet port(22), a discharge lever(50) for opening/shutting the ice outlet port by operating the cover, and a guide member(60) mounted in front of the discharge lever so as to guide ice pieces being discharged. The cover includes a cover section(48) having a size sufficient to cover the ice outlet port, and a hinge section(49) for hinge-coupling the cover section. The hinge section includes a connection member(41) extended upwardly from both sides of the cover section, a hinge axis(42) protruded outwardly from the upper end of the connection member, a support axis(44) extended inwardly from the connection member, a cover spring(45) fitted to the support axis so as to supply elastic force to the cover section, and a protruded piece(46) extended outwardly from the lower portion of the connection member.
