PURPOSE: An MP3 player system having a USB(Universal Serial Bus) interface function is provided for a user to download data regardless of time and space by using a data download function of a cellular phone. CONSTITUTION: A USB(Universal Serial Bus) function/host controller(152) has a USB controller. The USB controller downloads compressed audio data transmitted from a cellular phone(100) in a functional mode or a host mode, or transmits predetermined data to the cellular phone(100). When the data are not downloaded in the functional mode or the host mode, an MP3 controller(154) controls an audio data selection function and an audio data replay function, and generates a control signal for replaying the compressed audio data. A memory(158) stores the downloaded compressed audio data. A signal processor(156) is controlled by the MP3 controller(154) and the USB function/host controller(152), and stores the downloaded data in the memory(158). The signal processor(156) responds to the control signal applied to the MP3 controller(154), and performs a signal processing to replay the audio data.
