PURPOSE: A cylinder for Wankel compressor is provided to achieve an improved stability of compression operation and compression performance by changing hypotrochoid trajectory of the cylinder. CONSTITUTION: A cylinder(10) has a hypotrochoid trajectory surface(10a), and a piston(20) has a lobe(21) which moves along the hypotrochoid trajectory surface so as to compress the refrigerant. An outwardly curved surface(10b) is formed at the front surface of a vane(30) which becomes the direction of the movement of the piston. The outwardly curved surface is formed to be further protruded toward an end of the vane, such that a steel seal(22) of the piston moves, slowly contacting the vane. The rear surface of the vane, from among the trajectory surface, has an inwardly curved surface(10c) which is further curved so as to permit the lobe of the piston to slowly contact the trajectory surface while passing through the vane.
