PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stepping motor control method, capable of driving a stepping motor accurately from a low-speed range to high-speed one with no possibility of step out without using sensors which include an encoder or resolver. SOLUTION: A phase angleθis detected from an induced voltage vector E caused by the counter-electromotive force of a stepping motor S. The relative angle of a stator winding to the magnetic pole of a rotor is obtained from the phase angle to performed the closed-loop control of the stepping motor S. The detection of the phase angleθis effected, by calculating the induced voltage vector E for every constituent of each axis concerning the a stator axis, that intersects at right angles and by taking the arc tangent of the calculated ration of the constituents of each axis. |
