PURPOSE: A rice scoop for cooking is provided to readily detach boiled rice attached to a rice scoop face and to improve hygienic safety by preventing the boiled rice from being attached to a table even if the rice scoop is put on a planar face. CONSTITUTION: A rice scoop(10) consists of a wide head portion(12) having a curved portion to readily scoop out boiled rice from a container for cooking and a handle unit(14). The entire shape of the head portion or the handle unit is formed in various shapes for use convenience. An upper face of the rice scoop is formed in a concave shape to readily put a cooked material and plural protrusions(16) are formed on the upper face. The protrusion is desirably made up on a lower face of the head portion in a hemispherical shape. The cooked material is put on the uneven face of the upper face of the rice scoop with a little gap. The remains are detached from the rice scoop as impact is given after taking away the cooked material. Thereby, the boiled rice attached to the rice scoop face is readily detached.
