PURPOSE: An MPEG music file player is provided to perform a voice recognition function according to an inputted user voice, so as to prevent a user from directly operating buttons. CONSTITUTION: A microphone circuit(20) amplifies a user's MP3 controlling voice signal inputted through a microphone(21), and filters the amplified signal. If an MP3 replay signal and a voice signal reinputting request signal are inputted, an MP3 decoder(40) decodes MP3 and a voice signal reinputting request message stored in a memory(30), and converts inputted digital voice data with an ADPCM(Adaptive Differential Pulse Code Modulation) system, then extracts a specific voice parameter value. A micro computer(50) converts the voice signal of the microphone circuit(20) into digital voice data to apply the digital voice data to the MP3 decoder(40), and compares the specific voice parameter value with an MP3 controlling voice parameter value stored in the memory(30). The micro computer(50) outputs the voice signal reinputting request signal and an MP3 controlling signal according to a compared result. A D/A(Digital to Analog) converter(70) converts the decoded MP3 and the voice signal reinputting request message into analog signals, and outputs the analog signals through a speaker(60).
