PURPOSE: A molding device for a foamed resin is provided to exactly mold a foamed resin product in accordance with the shape of a foam die by making the pressure inside the foam die regular upon momentarily opening the foam die. CONSTITUTION: Upper and lower supports(2,3) are installed on an upper part of a work rest(1) a foam molding machine at a specific interval by a cylinder(4). The cylinder is downwardly installed in the center of the lower support(3). A lower piston unit(5) is inserted in the cylinder and a lower hot plate(7) is installed on an upper part of the piston unit. An upper hot plate(8) is prepared on a lower face of the upper support. Upper and lower foam dies(9,10) are installed on an upper face of the lower hot plate and a lower face of the upper hot plate. Upon foam-molding a foamed resin product, the lower hot plate is ascended in a state of preventing the upper hot plate from ascending by being hung on a stopper(14). The upper and lower foam dies are combined by being pressurized. A foamed resin material is heated and matured by the heat of a heater(6). The upper and lower foam dies are quickly opened by moving the stopper backward and rapidly ascending the upper hot plate with a vertical cylinder(11). Thus, the foamed resin product having irregular thickness is exactly molded.
