PURPOSE: Provided is a method for manufacturing a health food which complements physiological functions of a human body and prevents or treats arthritis and nerve systems without causing harmful effects on humans. CONSTITUTION: A method for manufacturing a health food contributing to treating ailments is characterized by the following steps: i) drying Salicomia herbacea, Houttuynia cordata, chitin, chitosan, germs of rice, and Equisetum arvense L.; ii) grinding and mixing 30-50wt% of Salicomia herbacea, 15-30wt% of Houttuynia cordata, 30-50wt% of chitin/chitosan, 5-15wt% of germs of rice, and 3-10wt% of Equisetum arvense L.; and iii) mixing the resultant mixture with water to manufacture a 15-20g of a pill or to make a capsule containing 10-20g of powder.
