PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow a video signal changeover device provided with a plurality of output terminals, to simultaneously output different video signals from the output terminals respectively. SOLUTION: A CPU 3 controls each of changeover circuits 20, 21 individually respectively to select one of video signals received from each of video input terminals 1, 1, etc., in response to an operation or the like of an operation section 6. Consequently, output terminals 40, 50 connected to the changeover circuits 20, 21 output the same or different video signals simultaneously. When receiving an alarm signal externally via alarm input terminals 9, 9, etc., the CPU 3 controls a switching operation of the changeover circuit 21 on the basis of the alarm signal, where as the CPU 3 disregards the alarm signal for the other changeover circuit 20 and maintains the switching, on the basis of the operation of the operation section 6 or the like.
