PURPOSE: To produce a reduced iron having high metallization and to improve the operating efficiency of a reducing furnace by preventing the intrusion of the outer air into a furnace, in a producing apparatus of the reduced iron. CONSTITUTION: In the producing apparatus of the reduced iron for producing the reduced iron by reducing granulated pellets of mixed powder of iron raw material and reducing agent in the high temperature atmosphere, a furnace hearth 34 formed as annular shape is rotatably supported and a furnace wall 37 and a roof are arranged so as to cover the upper part and the side part of this furnace hearth 34 to form a space part S in the high temp. atmosphere. On the roof, a pellet supplying part 44 and a pellet discharging part 45 are adjacently arranged, and center part partitions 53a, 53b, 53c and side part partitions 54a, 54b, 54c for partitioning these pellet supplying part 44, the pellet discharging part 45 and the space part S, are arranged.
