PURPOSE: A sideview mirror is provided to accurately and readily measure a rear side area of a vehicle without distorsion and to reduce the protrusion length of a housing protruded in the inside of the vehicle. CONSTITUTION: A sideview mirror for a vehicle consists of a housing coupled to a front part of a driver's seat to turn an opening hole formed on one side toward the outside rear area and an opening hole on the other side toward the inside of the vehicle; an objective lens system prepared with at least one objective lens(11) for refracting light, an upper reflecting unit for reflecting the light passing through an upper part of a central horizontal line of the objective lens and a lower reflecting unit for reflecting the light passing through a lower part of the central horizontal line; and an eyepiece lens system prepared with a third reflecting unit(17) for reflecting the light reflected by the upper and lower reflecting units to the inside opening area of the housing and at least one eyepiece lens(19) for refracting the light reflected by the third reflecting unit to be specific unit magnification. Thereby, as the upper, lower and third reflecting units are arranged between the objective lens and the eyepiece lens, a driver accurately measures an object of the rear side area of a vehicle.
