PURPOSE: A method for manufacturing furniture with enhanced durability, moth proofing property, and good smell is provided by adding kaoline and sand to yellow ocher, pulp, fiber which are used in furniture manufacturing and further adding mugwort, charcoal, and mandarin orange to the above mixture. CONSTITUTION: A furniture manufacturing method is characteristically including the following steps: mixing 40wt% of yellow ocher, 20wt% of pulp and starch, 10wt% of clay, kaoline and sand, the balance of rice straw, mugwort, charcoal, mandarin orange; molding the mixture to furniture of a desired shape; performing heat treatment on the furniture, wherein the heat treatment comprises a primary heat treatment at 100 deg.C for 20-30 minutes, and a secondary heat treatment at 250-300 deg.C for 10-20 minutes; drying the furniture at 50-90 deg.C for 24 hours; and coating the dried furniture with glaze by using heat.
