PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processor to enable a user to visually and easily recognize information regarding a position of a device on a network and a job (information to regarding how the job is processed, etc.), issued from the user to the device from the device. SOLUTION: A server device 10 controls positional information of the device 30 on the network 40 by hierarchical structure and provides a client device 20 with map information. When there is a retrieval request of the device from the client device 20, it specifies a hierarchical position of the device applicable to the request and displays the information to indicate the position of the specified device and the information regarding the job issued by the user on the client device 20.
