PURPOSE: A catch assembly installed to open and close a side gate of a container is formed so that the side gate is not opened by its own weight even if a catch assembly is opened. CONSTITUTION: A catch assembly comprises a penetrating hole(1), a catch hook(2) and a catching protrusion(3). A penetrating hole is formed in a certain length in a front plate(55). The catch hook(2) is installed so as to penetrate the penetrating hole(1) and has one end installed rotatably by a hinge device and the other end formed so that an interposed member(61) is engaged and hooked to. The catching protrusion(3) is placed on the bottom surface of the catch hook(2) and formed so that a catching member(57) is hooked to when a side gate is opened.
