ELECTROLYTIC PLATE OF MOLTEN CARBONATE FUEL CELL

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrolytic plate of a molten carbonate fuel cell, which is hard to generate cracks in spite of repeated thermal cycles at the temperature ranging from melting point to solidifying point which fulfills a pour matching, and does not increase the leakage. SOLUTION: The tape-shaped electrolytic plate of the molten carbonate fuel cell is formed of the slurry which is a mixture of a raw material powder and an organic solvent, where the raw material powder isγLiAlO2 with a specific surface area of 4-6 m2/g, and its avarage cohesive diameter of about 2μm or less is uniformly dispersed. The electrolytic plate has an average pore diameter of 0.5μm or less and a half band width of pore distribution (ΔlogR) is 0.2 or less.
