PURPOSE: A device for transferring an optical pickup of a disk driver is provided to control the transformation of a feed guide, so as to prevent the feed guide from being separated from a lead screw. CONSTITUTION: A lead screw(9) mounted on a pickup base is driven by a sled motor. The lead screw(9) is forwardly rotated by the sled motor. A feed guide(20) is interlocked with an optical pickup(5), and transferred integratedly with the optical pickup(5). The rack gear(22) in the feed guide(20) is toothed with the lead screw(9), and transfers the optical pickup(5) to a desired direction according to a rotation direction of the lead screw(9). Separation prevention plates(25,25') are formed in both sides of the rack gear(22), and prevent the elastic rack gear(22) from being separated from the lead screw(9) over a predetermined value by external power. The interval(l-2) between the separation prevention plates(25,25') and the optical pickup(5) is applied to be smaller than the tooth depth(l-1) of the rack gear(22) to the lead screw(9). Accordingly, the separation prevention plates(25,25') are hooked on a corresponding position of the optical pickup(5), to prevent the separation of the rack gear(22) from the lead screw(9).
