PURPOSE: A method for duplexing a processor board of a communication system is provided to convert data into packet data to transmit the packet data, by using an HDLC(High-level Data Link Control) interface and a software system, so as to simply perform the board duplexing at a low cost. CONSTITUTION: If a data transmitting request or a time out is generated(S1), an active processor decides whether a standby processor is in a normal state(S2). If not, the active processor resets transmission flags of entire data, and returns to the step 'S1'(S3). If the standby processor is in the normal state, the processor decides whether data for being transmitted to the standby processor exists(S4). If so, the active processor transmits the data to the standby processor(S5). The active processor decides whether an API(Application Program Interface) supplies a call back function(S6). If so, the active processor calls the call back function(S7). The active processor decides whether the transmitted data is cancellation-required data from an application program(S8). If so, the active processor cancels the transmitted data(S9). The active processor decides whether transmitted data exists(S10). If so, the active processor decides whether the standby processor is in the normal state(S2). If not, the active processor is reset again(S3). If the standby processor is in the normal state, a retransmission is performed(S10).
