PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image quality maintaining device of an image forming device which is capable of maintaining an image density at a specified density for a long period of time. SOLUTION: This image forming device 1 has the image maintaining device of one point control consisting of first and second control sections 7 and 8 and a toner coating build-up sensor 6. The image maintaining device functions to lower the density of the low-density part of a printer gamma in life by adding control to a target value. Namely, a matching down point is changed in the initial time and in the life and the gamma of high consistency is obtained after the initial time and the life. |
