<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air conditioner having an air filter that can be attached and detached easily and moreover has large area. SOLUTION: A suction panel 3 has an air inlet 2A in its front face and an arm section 3B on the rear surface of its lower part. A rotating shaft 3C is provided at the front end of the arm section 3B and is supported openably/ closably by a front case section 1A. On both sides of the top face of the main body 1 of an air conditioner, motors 11 for opening/closing the suction panel 3 are provided, and pulley s are connected to the driving shafts of the motors 11. When the pulleys rotate, hanging cords 13 wound respectively around the pulleys are paid out/rewound, and accordingly, the suction panel 3 is opened/ closed automatically.</p> |
