PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display driving controller which is capable of coping with the specification change of a liquid crystal display panel and the change in the frequency of a system clock employing a single LCD controller without changing the circuit constitution. SOLUTION: An LCD controller 40 is provided with a delaying circuit 41d and a clock generating section 70. The circuit 41d generates sampling start signals SRT by delaying the timing of horizontal synchronizing signals HD for a prescribed time delay 1. Control signals other than the signals SRT are generated based on internal clocks CK, that are independent with a system clock SYSCK supplied by the section 70, and the control signals are outputted to a signal driver 20 and a scanning driver 30.
