PURPOSE: A deck mechanism of a headphone stereo cassette is provided to prevent dynamic forces from being transmitted to components which are not necessary for each mode, and to operate necessary components only, so as to minimize load of a driving source in each mode. CONSTITUTION: If a user selects an FF(Fast Forward) mode, a high speed of plate(86) is moved by a cam(45) driving, and a high speed of gear(85) is in gear with a mid gear(80') and a driving gear(75). A dynamic force transfer gear(40) is not in gear with a forward capstan(50) and a connection gear(58) of a reverse capstan(55), and is in gear with a transfer gear(60) only. A driving force of a driving motor(32) is transferred to the dynamic force transfer gear(40) through a belt(36), and transferred to the transfer gear(60) through a gear unit(40g) of the dynamic force transfer gear(40). The driving force is transferred to a clutch gear(70) which is in gear with a small gear unit(62), and a dynamic force is transferred to the driving gear(75) from the clutch gear(70). The driving force transferred to the driving gear(75) is transferred to the mid gear(80') through the high speed of gear(85), to rotate a tape cassette reel. If the user selects a reverse FF mode, the high speed of plate(86) is operated by the cam(45) driving to make the high speed gear(85) be in gear with other side mid gear(80) and the driving gear(75). A function plate(46) is not driven even when the cam(45) is operated, to make the dynamic force transfer gear(40) be in gear with the transfer gear(60) only.
