PHOTOSENSITIVE COMPOSITION FOR COLUMNAR SPACER AND COLOR FILTER FOR LIQUID CRYSTAL DISPLAY DEVICE USING SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a photosensitive composition for columnar spacers capable of giving columnar spacers having an increased Young's modulus and an increased area ratio (S2/S1) so as to attain uniformity of a gap in sticking to a counter substrate when a color filter for a liquid crystal display device with columnar spacers is used as a liquid crystal display device, and to obtain a color filter for a liquid crystal display device with columnar spacers disposed using the photosensitive composition. SOLUTION: The photosensitive composition contains a styrene resin, a monomer, a photopolymerization initiator and a solvent as essential components. Columnar spacer 15 using the photosensitve composition are provided.
