PURPOSE: A vehicle body transfer apparatus is provided to assemble vehicle components conveniently by horizontally moving a vehicle body, and to improve working efficiency by properly transporting a vehicle to a working place. CONSTITUTION: A horizontal body transfer apparatus is composed of a first lifter(110) installed on both sides of a conveyor to move a first conveyor(101) and lifting a vehicle by oil pressure while transferring a body(103) on a skid moved by the conveyor; a horizontal body transfer unit(120) moving a fork(111) to the back of the body, and horizontally loading and transferring the body in lifting the vehicle; and a second lifter(130) receiving the body transferred by the horizontal body transfer unit and putting in a second conveyor(121). The horizontal body transfer apparatus between the conveyors to transfer the vehicle to the other working place moves the body from the first conveyor to the other conveyor. The horizontal movement of the vehicle body is useful to assemble the vehicle conveniently.
