TENSION ADJUSTMENT DEVICE OF CHAIN

PURPOSE: A tension adjustment device maintains tension fixed actively as a chain stretches and absorbs a large force maintaining the length of the lower part of the chain even if a counter tension works. CONSTITUTION: A tension adjustment device comprises a hollow type cylinder tube(5), a tension adjusting handle part, a spring(3), a tension shaft(10), a tension gear(11), a set block and a no-load handle part. As a tension adjusting handle(1) is rotated a spring plate(2) is moved vertically to compress or release the spring(3) to adjust the elastic force of the spring(3). The elastic force of the spring(3) is transmitted to the tension shaft(10), a wheel(18) and a chain in turn to adjust the tension. The structural characters(being unidirectional tooth-form) of a teethed gear part(103) formed on a side of a tension gear(11) and a teethed gear part(104) of a tension gear block(19) maintains the tension of the chain.
