PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fixing device, capable of realizing the optimization of heat generation efficiency and uniform heating and being produced at a low cost. SOLUTION: This device is equipped with an endless heating member, moving at equal speed to the moving speed of a member to be fixed and coming in contact with the member to be fixed, so as to thermally fix an image on the member to be fixed, and an induction heating means performing the induction heating of the endless heating member. The induction heating means is provided with a coil member and a supporting member for supporting the coil member. Then, the support member has skeleton structure plurally divided in a direction perpendicular to the moving direction of the member to be fixed.
