PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the so-called information outlet with optical connectors stored from being damaged due to mischief or the like when installed at a position within easy reach. SOLUTION: This optical connector unit 10 is such that it is equipped with a connecting optical fiber 16 having an optical connector 16a, which is connected to an optical cable 13 and also to an optical line 20 on a transmission device 12a side at the tip end opposite from the optical cable 13, that it is provided with an optical fiber storing part 19 which stores the connecting optical fiber 16 in a drawable manner with an extra length secured, and that, even if the unit 10 is installed for example in a high place unlikely to receive damage from mischief, the unit 10 can secure connectability with the transmission device 12a side through the drawing of the connecting optical fiber 16.
