摘要 PURPOSE: A ceiling-mounting type compact omnidirectional antenna for a wireless communication system is provided to maintain a uniformity of a beam pattern and improve a frequency matching characteristic. CONSTITUTION: A microstrip substrate(311) reflects a radiant electromagnetic wave to the air. A connector hole(312) is formed at the microstrip substrate(311) in order to connect a cable transmitting the electromagnetic wave. A microstrip line(313) is formed at the microstrip substrate(311) in order to transmit the electromagnetic wave inputted through the connector hole(312). A radiating means(314) radiates the electromagnetic wave, which is transmitted through the microstrip line and resonates with the microstrip substrate, to the air. A tuning stub(315) matches an impedance of the electromagnetic wave which is supplied to the radiating means through the microstrip line. The angle between the microstrip substrate and the radiating means is substantially less than 45°.
