PURPOSE: An audio play media device is provided to automatically perform functions for inputting/storing voice signals synchronized with captions, and to display stored captions in a play mode through a display device, then to simultaneously play the voice signals. Therefore, a user is capable of using voice information and character information by selecting a foreign language program. CONSTITUTION: An ASICII to modulation block(90) modulates serial data. The modulated serial data are sequentially stored in a storage(120) via an input block(110) of storage media(100). Audio signals inputted from left/right signal input blocks(20,25) are added in an adder(60). The audio signals are sequentially stored in the storage(120) via a signal stabilizing buffer(70) and via the input block(110). The audio signals inputted as two-channel types are divided into two channels in the storage(120) to be stored. A mode of the stored audio signals is converted into a play mode, by an external play control signal. Voice channel information is restored as a voice, to output an audio signal to a final speaker(140). Caption information data is converted into digital stream-typed information via a demodulation block(150). The caption information data becomes an LCD controlling signal via an LCD controller(170), to display character information synchronized with a voice signal played through a final LCD(180).
