PURPOSE: A water proofing method by burning a candle with heat and then pasting the candle on the surface of a concrete crack is provided to prevent the leakage of the cracked area at low cost while a melted candle is penetrated even in a minute cracked-area. CONSTITUTION: A cracked area(2) of a concrete structure(1) is heated with the fire(4) of a torch(3) during heating a candle(5). And the melted candle is pasted on the cracked area of the concrete structure. At this time, the suction force is generated in the concrete structure because the surface of the cracked area is kept at high temperature, so that the melted candle penetrates the cracked area deeply to form a protection coating layer. Therefore, the cracked area is waterproofed semi-permanently at low cost.
