PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device and an image forming method capable of improving the adjustment efficiency without increasing the cost. SOLUTION: In an adjustment mode, a reference adjustment value for regulating the regular image forming start position of paper supplied from an upper stage cassette 41 which is equipped as standard is set in a manufacture process. An adjustment value for field, which is for regulating the regular image forming position of paper supplied from the other supply device, which is installed in accordance with the purpose of a user, besides the upper stage cassette 41, is set in a field. The adjustment value for field is equivalent to a deviation value from the reference adjusting value. In an image forming mode, an image is formed on the paper from selected supply devices based on the adjustment values. |
