PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To generate a texture memory address at high speed without requiring a computing element even when the lateral width of texture source data is arbitrary in texture mapping. SOLUTION: The texture source data are separated for each of data of the same (v) coordinate, aligned to the left and written in a texture memory 4 by a data aligning part 3, and a texture memory address generating part 6 newly regards the closest value of the power of '2' greater than the lateral width of the texture source data as the lateral width of the texture source data and generates the texture memory address from a texture coordinate (u, v) in a combination circuit. |
