PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow a device for acquiring positioning data to be used for general purpose. SOLUTION: A GPS device 1 receives signals from a satellite, and determines its own position. The GPS device 1, when connected to a personal computer 4 outputs the measured positioning data to the personal computer 4. In this case, the GPS device 1 is used as a part of the navigation system. The GPS device 1, when it is not connected to the personal computer 4, stores the positioning data in a storage device inside the GPS device. The stored positioning data are fed to the personal computer 4 when it is connected to the personal computer, related to the image data fed from a digital camera, and stored in the personal computer 4. |
