PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a magnetic field strength sensor and a non-contact magnetic measuring device that can be temperature-compensated over a wide temperature range, that is, free from a temperature error. SOLUTION: The main part of this magnetic field strength sensor 10 is composed of a magnetic field detecting element 11 for outputting an electric signal corresponding to the external magnetic field Hex; a magnetic field generating coil 12 provided near the magnetic field detecting element 11 and capable of generating the magnetic field equal in strength to the external magnetic field Hex which is about to be detected; and an amplifier 13 whose input side is connected to the magnetic field detecting element 11 and whose output side is connected to the magnetic field generating coil 12, for amplifying the electric signal from the magnetic field detecting element 11 and making an electric current flow to the magnetic field generating coil 12 in the direction of generating the magnetic field opposite to the external magnetic field Hex. The magnetic field strength sensor 10 is built in a non-contact magnetic measuring device.
