PURPOSE: A line filter for a large electric current is provided to minimize a noise signal transmitted through a power line of an electronic appliance consuming a large electric current, and to reduce size of the line filter. CONSTITUTION: A core(10) is formed in a hexahedral shape having a rectangular through-hole(12). A bobbin(20) is divided longitudinally into two pieces so as to be easily fixed to a base portion of the core(10) through the hole(12). The inner surface of the bobbin(20) is formed in a gear shape, and the outer surface thereof is formed with a plurality of stepped portions(22). Coils(30) are wound around the bobbin(20) between the stepped portions(22) in a state of that the bobbin(20) is coupled to the core(10). The core(10) and the bobbin(20) are fixedly mounted to a base member(40), for example, by means of an epoxy resin. The base member(40) has a plurality of terminal pins(46) which are fitted in coupling holes(52) of a PCB(50). |
