The tensioning device has tension elements (4) connected to a tension lever by a shared connection. The lever is swivel mounted at one end, and has a control at the opposite end for increasing or reducing the tension on the drum-skin. A spring arrangement supports the controls and has a load-relieving lever at one end on the foot-frame (5). The tension ever can be finely adjusted.
