The schematic control panel comprises a number of successive panel sections (1a...1n) with incorporated controls (2a..2n; 3a...3n) which can be operated via a hand-held control device (8). Each of the panel section controls has an associated coupling device (4a...4n) wired together from one panel to the next. A single fail-safe current supply is used for the coupling devices (4a...4n). The electrical operating energy for the hand-held control device (8) is obtained from the current supply via the coupling devices (4a...4n). ADVANTAGE - Simple manual operation.
