PURPOSE: An apparatus for managing a CNIP(Call Number Identification Presentation) of a wireless mobile phone is provided to store received CNIPs in the wireless mobile phone, so that a user can easily confirm the CNIPs when deemed necessary. CONSTITUTION: A CNIP(Call Number Identification Presentation) detector(130) detects CNIPs from a signal received from a base station. A displayer(120) receives the CNIPs to display the CNIPs. A memory(180) stores the CNIPs. A write address generator(160) generates an address for storing the CNIPs in the memory(180). A read address generator(170) generates a read address for outputting the CNIPs from the memory(180). A capacity checker(150) counts the number of the stored CNIPs. If the counted number exceeds a maximally-storable number, the capacity checker(150) notifies the exceeding number. A controller(140) transmits the CNIPs detected from the CNIP detector(130) to the memory(180), or transmits the CNIPs read from the memory(180) to the displayer(120). If the counted number exceeds the maximally-storable number, the controller(140) erases a longest area in the memory(180).
