Competitive immune test using analyte-derivate complexes

<p>Competitive immunoassay for an analyte (I) in a sample comprises: (a) incubating the sample with an analyte deriv. (Ia), a receptor mol. (II) (which is specific for (I) and (Ia)) and a second receptor mol. (III) (which binds specifically with either (Ia) or (I)+(Ia); (b1) separating any (II) not bound to (Ia); or (b2) separating any (Ia) not bound to (II); and (c) detecting (II) bound to (Ia) or (Ia) bound to (II). A kit for the process is also claimed.</p>
