PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a desired image easily by preventing the address of memory access on the image output side from exceeding the develop address from a hard disc to cause an abnormal image when a long image is outputted from the hard disc. SOLUTION: When the difference between an image data develop address (AD2) from a hard disc and a read address (AD1) at an image I/O section reaches the volume PC of a line of data, an access stop signal from a first address comparing section 402b to the image I/O section is activated and I/O memory access signal is stopped at the image I/O section immediately after generation of an output line sync signal. The image I/O section outputs each sync signal normally and outputs image data while masking white. A second address generating section 404 generates an address in response to memory access request signal from a hard disc I/F section even during stoppage of I/O memory access signal.
