PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent water accumulated in an intake box or the like from being sucked in an engine when an overturned hull is restored. SOLUTION: A connecting pipe 22 and an intake box 23 are arranged by spacing apart by an elevation difference (t) so that an upper edge 23i of an outlet part 23f of the intake box 23 is positioned lower in respect of a lower edge 22e of an inlet part 22d of the connecting pipe 22. With this structure, when a hull 2 is overturned and water accumulated in an engine chamber 6 in a ship flows into the intake box 23 from the inlet part 23h, the water accumulated in the intake box 23 does not flow in on the side of a connecting hose 24 on an upper position in restoring the overturned hull 2.
