PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a building in which the heat insulation properties of a sash window can be set at multistages and the heat insulation properties of the existing sash window can also be changed easily. SOLUTION: The building has a sash window constituted, having window frames 1, 2, in which upper frames, lower frames 42 and left-right vertical frames are framed peripherally, and movable fitting sections 5, 6, 7, in which upper rails and lower rails 23, 24, 73, 74 and left-right stiles are framed peripherally and face materials are incorporated. In each sash window installed in the building, the movable fitting sections 5-7 capable of being exchanged with other movable fitting sections having different heat insulation properties are mounted, and the movable fitting sections 5-7 are selected and incorporated in response to the difference of environment at the positions of the installation of the sash windows. The building having the different heat insulation properties of each sash window is constituted by selecting each movable fitting section 5 in response to environment at the positions of the installation of the sash windows.
