PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tightening structure of a scaffolding having a tightening part which can surely and easily fitted to a stay without hitting by a hammer, and sustain the external force applied in both directions (vertical direction). SOLUTION: In the tightening structure of the scaffolding having the tightening part of a temporary scaffolding 10 to fit a fitting member 12 to a stay 11 adjacent thereto by fitting a fitting part 14d provided in an end of the fitting member 12 to a fitting hole 16 provided on the stay 11 side, a tightening member body 19 is turnably provided on the fitting part 14d side, a working bolt 20 as a 'working member' to turn the tightening member body 19, a locking piece 19d formed on the tightening member body 19 is attached/ detached to/from a circumferential edge part (an inclined surface part 17a) of the fitting hole 16 by turning the tightening member body 19 using the working bolt 20, the fitting part 14d is prevented from coming off from the fitting hole 16 in the fitting part 14d in a locked condition, while the fitting part 14d is detached from the fitting hole 16 in an unlocked condition.
