PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent emitted hot and damp air from spreading to the elevating mechanism of a dryer device while simplifying the structure of an elevating shelf, and to securely prevent a cockroach, and the like, from entering the device. SOLUTION: This elevatable dryer device has an elevating shelf 2 capable of storing articles to be stored in an outer case 1 whose bottom is open. The elevating shelf 2 is elevated to store articles and lowered to take out the articles. The elevating mechanism part 13 for elevating/lowering the elevating shelf 2 in the outer case 1 is enclosed by a cover 14, on which a hole 28 for passing through an elevation wire 27 for elevating/lowering the elevating shelf 2 is formed. A sealing means 29 for closing the hole 28 when the elevating shelf 2 is elevated in the storing condition is mounted between the cover 14 and the top 16 of the elevating shelf 2 in the periphery of the hole 28.
