CYCLODEXTRIN INCLUSION COMPLEX AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for recovering an active substance of high ratio in a cyclodextrin inclusion complex by forming the active substance as the cyclodextrin inclusion complex and capable of increasing the recovery ratio. SOLUTION: A cyclodextrin is added to a solvent in a reactor and an active substance is added to a cyclodextrin solution while stirring. The mixture is stirred for a proper time at a sufficient temperature to form an inclusion complex between the cyclodextrin and the active substance. Then a solid content increasing agent such as gum arabic, maltodextrin, modified dextrin or its mixture is added to the solution. The solution is dried at 25 deg.C and 40 deg.C at 53% relative humidity to recover the cyclodextrin-active substance inclusion complex as dried powder. The amount of the active substance of dried powder is 1-20 wt.% of the complex.
