PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rod-less cylinder capable of selecting a use mode of mounting more than in the past. SOLUTION: A cylinder main unit 11 is constituted by a base 12 mounted in a set up part B1 and two end plates 31a, 31b provided in both ends of the base 12. A cylinder tube 51 is provided between both end plates 31a, 31b. A piston 52 is movably received in the cylinder tube 51. The piston 52 is driven by an air pressure. A slider 61 for mounting a workpiece W1 is connected to the piston 52. A guide block 66 and guide rail 67 guiding a linear motion as the guide member are provided in the slider 61. A first/second workpiece mounting surface 68, 69 is provided in a manner abutting to each other at a right angle in an outer surface of the slider 61. A first/second main unit set up surface 21, 22 is mutually into contact at a right angle with an outer surface of the base 12.
